Dodgers: Ross Stripling Looking Forward to Playing the Astros

Dodgers fans perked up a little bit more with the news that their team might get a shot at redemption from 2017. With the new MLB schedule, Los Angeles will likely get to face off against the Astros a few times.

We asked Dodgers’ pitcher Ross Stripling about it on our podcast yesterday, and Ross is excited to see them back out there. Not surprisingly, he’s not the only player ready to take on Houston.

You know, we’ve always said in the locker room that we’re gonna take care of it on the field. So it’s cool, it sounds like we’re gonna get that opportunity to play them on the field. What stinks is that we don’t give Dodger fans a chance to fill up Dodger Stadium with 50,000 people and let them have it ya know. That’s where it won’t be as fun because of just how much support we’d have behind us with Dodgers Nation.

The fact that the Astros won’t be welcomed to Los Angeles with 50,000 boo’ing fans is a little bit of a bummer, but we’ll take a few wins anyways. The Dodgers might face the Asterisks only two or three times during the year, but they’re ready for the challenge.

I’ll tell you what, It’ll be fun to go out and compete against them. We have a chance for a little revenge of sorts and we’ll handle it on the field.

I’m not 100 percent sure what it means to take care of it on the field, but we’ll leave that up to you to interpret. Either some Astros will get a few fastballs to the rib cage, or the Dodgers just want to beat them to make their point. Either way, count me in.

  1. I hope the Astros kick the sore loser Dodgers sorry a$$e$! As I recall the Astros won games 2 &7 in LA. What a bunch of cry babies!

LA BLEED’S BLUE BABY HERE IN THE CITY OF ANGELS. THE LOS ANGELES LA. DODGER’S !!!!!!?

  3. Don’t forget that there is no game 7 if the Astros wouldn’t of cheated Dodgers had the lead in both games in Huston. Astros and ex Astros deserve what’s coming to them. Its not going to happen this year but sooner or later Fans will be back in the stands and when the Astros come to town hope there ready… Astro fans should be a shame of them selfs for cheering on a bunch of cheaters they should become Ranger Fans At least the Rangers have respect for the game…

  4. Teams change signs a lot in the playoffs. If the Dodgers were too lazy to change them in the WS, it’s on them. The Astros also shut down Dodgers hitters. It’s time to move on. That was 3 years ago. How many other teams were doing the same thing in 2017. They all had the same legal cameras at that time to do so.
