Is Clayton Kershaw going to be the first $200+ million pitcher in Major League Baseball?

I’d bet my Don Mattingly bobblehead on it.

Ken Rosenthal reports that both sides are still talking about an extension into the season.

If you think $220+ million is crazy, remember Felix Hernandez will be 34 years old when his mega deal expires and Justin Verlander is getting paid the big bucks through age 36.

Kershaw is going to get paid, it’s just a matter of how long and how much.

At age 25, the Dodgers have something special in Kershaw. We know it, Kershaw knows it, the Dodgers know it, and most importantly his agent knows it.

How much do you think Kershaw gets?
