Dodgers Rumors: Walker Buehler Hopes Trevor Bauer Signs With LA, MLB Opening Day Update!

With the Los Angeles Dodgers still needing to make a signing or two this offseason, we dive into the latest offseason rumors surrounding the “Boys in Blue.”

Dodgers’ ace starting pitcher Walker Buehler appeared on David Vassegh’s radio show “Dodger Talk”, and said he gets along with the star free agent pitcher Trevor Bauer and that he hopes Bauer “finds his way into some blue.” We discuss Buehler’s comments on Bauer and if the 2020 NL Cy Young award winner would ruffle some feathers in the Dodgers clubhouse.

Plus, how would Trevor Bauer impact the Dodgers starting rotation?

Next, the MLBPA rejected MLB’s proposal to delay the start of the 2021 season. As a result, the 2021 season should begin as scheduled.

  1. Well it’s February 3rd and Andrew has still not resigned Justin Turner, No Trevor Bauer and we still do not have a BIG right handed BAT. We have lost some real key components and have not replaced them. Lux at 2B and no Turner, we will be lucky to compete for the division. The AAA team down in San Diego has done an extremely good job this off season and Dodgers have not made any strong moves to counter them. Re sign Turner and we will all start praying that Roberts starts Chris Taylor at second bases……… GO DODGERS

    • Not having a DH will also hurt this team. With the ’embarassment’ of riches many say the Dodgers have, they should be able to get a needed RHB and sign JT as well. But I agree with you that in 2021 the division is no lock for Dodgers as well at this time.
