Some could argue that Los Angeles already celebrated Lakers day while watching the Dodgers this week after both teams made franchise-altering roster moves on Thursday.

But in an effort to celebrate it more officially, the Dodgers announced “Lakers Day” for Sunday, August 22nd at Dodger Stadium with the Mets in town. Along with other festivities, there will be a World Champions 20 t-shirt giveaway at the ballpark.
NOTE that this is a special event and special event tickets must be purchased to secure the t-shirt.
