Dodgers Schedule: LA Takes 5 Game Winning Streak to East Coast to Face Nationals

The Dodgers wrapped up what turned out to be a great homestand. After getting no hit by the Cubs in their first game back at Dodger Stadium, the boys in blue rattled off 5 straight wins and pulled to within 1.5 games of first place in the NL West.

Now, the club hits the road for a tough stretch of games on the east coast, starting with 4 games against the Nationals.

Schedule: When Do the Dodgers Play the Houston Astros in 2021?

Right-hander Tony Gonsolin (0-0, 2.77 ERA) toes the rubber for the Dodgers in game 1, looking for his first win of the season in his fifth start.

Lefty Julio Urias (9-3, 3.95 ERA) goes for LA in game 2 and is looking to run off back-to-back good outings after a stretch of struggling.

Clayton Kershaw (9-7, 3.25 ERA) will make his 18th start of the year on Saturday in the third game of the series. The 33-year-old struck out 13 batters in his last start against the Chicago Cubs at home.

Finally, Trevor Bauer (8-5, 2.59 ERA) is scheduled to start bright and early on Independence Day in our Nation’s capital. He’s also making his 18th start of the season for the Dodgers, joining Kershaw as the only starters to take the ball (about) every fifth day for LA.

Washington has not named any starters for the series as of publishing time.
