Dodgers Sign Neftalí Féliz, Seager Injury Update, Victor Gonzalez to IL & More

The Los Angeles Dodgers made a tornado of roster moves Tuesday. First, it was announced that the team signed former rookie of the year, Neftalí Féliz to a minor league contract. We discuss the signing and if Feliz could be an impact reliever for LA this season. Next, manager Dave Roberts provided an update on Corey Seager’s injury status and when we could see him activated off the injured list.

Next, the Dodgers placed left-handed pitcher Victor Gonzalez on the IL with left plantar fasciitis. We discuss what VGON being out means for the Dodgers bullpen and why he hasn’t been as effective this season as he was in 2020. Plus, the Dodgers DFA outfielder, Steven Souza Jr. and call up pitcher Jake Reed. We tell you why the move makes perfect sense considering how heavily taxes LA’s pen is at the moment.

  1. Spahn and Sain and pray for rain. Buehler, Urias and pray for the rodeo bullpen!!!

  2. Tonights the Pen fell to the D Backs….Vesia,Uceta and Reed rut the score out of reach with lousy control walking the D Backs into 2 runs. Why are these inept pitchers still with the Big Team? Don’t tell me there are worse coming. Friedman’s filling the roster with a mess! Also Bellinger and Lux are showing no offense and strike out more than making contact….do we need minor league help for them?
