Dodgers Spring Training: Cody Bellinger, Star Prospects and More

The Dodgers minor leaguers took center stage on Thursday at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona. Considering the current state of the CBA negotiations, the kids might have the place to themselves for a while.

With that in mind, the Dodgers major league players have to get creative to stay ready. Dodgers fans got a quick glimpse of Cody Bellinger in the cage with a former Dodgers teammate.

Back at Camelback Ranch, Thursday was the first day the media was allowed to attend the Dodgers spring training sessions.

Behold! Baseball players doing baseball stuff on a baseball field!

Dodgers fans got their first glimpse of left-handed pitcher Maddux Bruns.

The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya provided a brief scouting report on Bruns’ curveball.

Righty Ryan Pepiot also got some work in.

Of course, spring training wouldn’t be complete without pitchers’ fielding practice (PFP).

The Orange County Register’s Bill Plunkett was excited just to see some semblance of baseball.
