Dodgers: Vin Scully Congratulates Team on World Series Rings and Celebration

Dodgers fans always love hearing from Vin Scully. The legendary broadcaster has been out of the booth for a few years now, but his social media appearance this past year has really been special to see.

The Dodgers held their World Series celebration ceremony at Chavez Ravine on Friday afternoon. Hosting fans for the first time since the postseason in 2019, the players and coaches from the 2020 World Series team got their rings.

Vin briefly popped in on Twitter to congratulate the Dodgers on their success.

He might be retired, but Vinny will always be Dodgers royalty. It would have been great to have him out at the ballpark for the ceremony, but we’re just happy to see him doing well. We love you, Vin!

The Dodgers will be without Cody Bellinger for the next couple of genes. The All-Star outfielder caught a cleat on his calf at first base in a game against the A’s this past week. That resulted in him sitting for the next 2 games, and he was not in the lineup announce prior to Friday’s game. The team placed him on the IL this afternoon and recalled Luke Raley.
