Dodgers vs Twins: Latest Betting Odds, Predictions and Picks for August 10

The Dodgers head into the series finale against the Twins on a nine-game winning streak with 27 wins in their last 31 games. After sweeping the Giants and Padres, Los Angeles put together a full-team offensive effort to pound the Twins in game one, with ten different Dodgers getting a hit and nine different players scoring at least one run. The Dodgers had nine extra-base hits, including eight doubles from seven different players, in the 10-3 win over Minnesota.

The Dodgers will send rookie Ryan Pepiot to the mound today for his fifth career start. Pepiot has never faced the Twins, and it will be his first start in the big leagues since July 5. In his last two starts at Triple-A, Pepiot pitched 14 innings and allowed just three earned runs. He’s looking to build off that and his last major-league start, when he went five innings and got the win over the Rockies.

On the mound for the Twins will be Sonny Gray, who is having a typically solid season. Gray sports a 3.19 ERA on the season, which was inflated by consecutive clunkers against the Rangers and White Sox last month. In Gray’s last three starts, he has allowed just eight hits and two runs in 16 innings.
