Dodgers: Watch Andre Ethier Go Wild Celebrating Los Angeles’ World Series Win

Andre Ethier was always a fan favorite when he was with the Dodgers. Even though he’s been away from baseball since 2017, he still remains a fan favorite in Los Angeles. Captian Clutch had some amazing years playing here but never reached the pinnacle.

Dre did come close in 2017 until the Dodgers were cheated out of a title by the Astros. But even if he hasn’t been with the team in quite some time, Ethier was going to celebrate their World Series like he was right there in the middle of things. Dre made an appearance on the “This Is Our Year” special broadcast with SportsNet LA to talk about the victory.

Dre can be seen popping champagne and shooting it into the air when the Dodgers finally won their first World Series in 32 years. Even though he is no longer a player, Ethier has certainly been a part of the long road to get here. He still shows up to some Spring Training camps as an advisor on occasion and played for 12 years with the team.

The Dodgers special broadcast was part of the celebration broadcast held on SportsNet LA on Wednesday night. The team will likely continue to have events like that since the pandemic has made an in-person celebration impossible.

  1. Wow! I almost forgot about Andre Ethier. He is a prime example of just how unfair the 2017 cheating was. That hunk of metal a WS ring and a home town parade can never be replaced. Time for players cheated out of awards, and the money than comes with the post season to bring a lawsuit. If anything, it will bring the truth to the surface.
