Dodgers: Watch Clayton Kershaw’s Record Setting Strikeout
Last night, Clayton Kershaw further cemented his place in Dodgers history. After striking out the Detroit Tigers Spencer Torkelson in the fourth inning with a filthy slider, Kershaw became the Dodgers franchise all-time strikeout leader (2,697) – passing fellow Dodgers legend Don Sutton (2,696).
In case you missed it, don’t worry, Dodgers Nation has you covered.
The sellout crowd at Dodger Stadium gave the lefty a standing ovation after his accomplishment. Kershaw removed his hate, saluted the crowd, and gave a small first pump to show his appreciation to his adoring fans.
His wife Ellen, along with his kids, cheered him on from the stands as the crowd continued to roar. It was another magical evening at Dodger Stadium.
Take a bow Clayton Kershaw. The new Dodgers strikeout king.
