Dodgers: Watch Freddie Freeman’s Son’s Heartfelt Reunion with Dansby Swanson

Last night’s Dodgers-Braves game was an evening of reunions. It was Freddie Freeman’s first time playing the franchise that he spent his first 12 big league seasons with. It was Kenley Jansen’s first time dressing in the visitor’s locker room of Dodger Stadium.

Prior to first pitch, both Freeman and Jansen, with their families in tow, enjoyed some pre-game festivities. For Freeman, it was formally accepting his 2021 silver slugger award at home plate with his family and Braves manager Brian Snitker.

The Freeman family’s on-field moment also served as the perfect time for Freddie’s son Charlie to reunite with one of his favorite Braves – shortstop Dansby Swanson.

Since his first press conference, Freddie, a southern California native, has frequently mentioned the benefits of having his friends and family much closer to his home stadium.

Monday was just another reminder of why he chose to sign with the Dodgers.
