Dodgers: Watch The First Trucks Head Out to Camelback Ranch for Spring Training

The first sign of Spring Training is officially in the air. The same day that the Dodgers made the Trevor Bauer signing official, they also had their moving day. Trucks bound for Camelback Ranch in Glendale packed up the first round of gear left Dodger Stadium on Thursday.

The Dodgers posted the clip of the two semi-trucks rolling out of Chavez Ravine. Pitchers and catchers are supposed to report next week as the early workouts start. The first full-squad workout is set to take place on February 23rd.

Camelback Ranch in Glendale is split between the Dodgers and the White Sox during spring games. Los Angeles plays their first game of the spring against the Cubs on February 27th and their park in Mesa.

Dave Roberts addressed the current state of the Dodgers starting rotation this week now that Bauer is part of the team. Roberts said that he fully expects all 7 starters to take some time in the rotation throughout the 2021 season to keep guys fresh.

The Dodgers also pulled off a major acquisition in the form of arbitration this week. Los Angeles signed Walker Buehler to a 2-year deal that will pay out $8 million between 2021 and 2022. So not only do they avoid having to go to arbitration, but they get a major discount on a quality arm as well.
