Dodgers: When Will Dustin May Make His Return?

The Dodgers have to be excited about the arms that they could be getting back this season. Tommy Kahnle and Caleb Ferguson are both on their way back from Tommy John surgery and could be with the big league club sometime in May. Those are huge additions.

But Dustin May also made his return to the mound this week. The Dodgers hurler threw a bullpen session with the team at Chase Field before they took on the Diamondbacks. It was the first time that he threw more than fastballs. So when will he make his return?

That could obviously be this season given where May is currently at. But the Dodgers would be taking a gamble on bringing him back into the mix. D-May is a huge part of their future for the rotation, and taking the risk could be a tough call.

But if (or when) he does come back this season, expect the Dodgers to use him in relief. May could be a crazy weapon to add on heading into the postseason. And he could be one of the best additions to any team.
