Dodgers: Where Freddie Freeman Will Bat in This Lineup

The Dodgers finally got to see their big free-agent acquisition debut on Tuesday afternoon. In front of a small mid-week crowd at Camelback Ranch, Freddie Freeman stepped into the box to a whole lot of cheers. He banged a 2-strike pitch into right field, for his first hit of Spring, in very Freddie fashion.

Even the Dodgers players were excited to see Freddie step into the box for the first time. All of the players went up onto the top step when his name was announced, and they remained there until his singled into right.

Dave Roberts spoke before the game about the excitement around camp, and even his excitement writing out lineups. Doc also mentioned that Freddie would likely be sliding into one of two spots in the lineup, jump into Doug’s video above to find out more and hear from Doc.
