Dodgers World Series: Fan Has a Really Weird Reaction to Catching Will Smith’s Homerun

The Dodgers did not have their best night on Wednesday. After dominating in Game 1 of the World Series over the Rays, Game 2 went down much differently. Tampa Bay came out strong and Los Angeles struggled to find their bats all game long.

One of the highlights from the game came on a two-run bomb from Dodgers catcher Will Smith. Smith launched one off of Blake Snell and a fan snagged it in the air in left field. His reaction after can only be explained by the fact that fans haven’t been allowed to attend games until recently.

Internet legend Jomboy also added a break down of the play.

I’m not sure if it was the excitement of catching a World Series home run or the rust from not attending games, but his glove somehow ends up on the field. Rays’ outfielder Randy Arozarena helped the fan out and tossed the glove back. The Dodgers went on to drop Game 2 by a score of 6-4.
