This week on Blue Heaven, Kevin and FRG reasonably sulk over the sweep handed out by the lowly Cincinnati Reds before inviting Brook Smith — our Senior Editor here at Dodgers Nation — on-air to discuss a number of issues with the 2018 squad.
FRG wonders if Dave Roberts has what it takes to guide his squad out of “Blue Hell” before it’s too late, while Kevin asks Brook to put on his general manager’s hat for this season’s trade deadline. Could we see Brett Lawrie or Freddy Galvis in Los Angeles if the Dodgers remain in the hunt?
In the second segment, Kevin and FRG take to the internet for opinions on the season so far. It’s your time to shine, Dodgers nation! And we assure you that all opinions and suggestions are totally feasible.
In the final segment, they try their best to put an optimistic foot forward as they welcome Justin Turner back into the lineup. FRG debates with himself on whether Ross Stripling or Walker Buehler are the true heroes of the pitching mound, while Kevin wonders what sort of players the current Dodgers minor league system could net.
Be sure to like and share our podcast! We love and welcome all reviews! Your comments and questions may be addressed on air, so be heard! Starting next week, we are excited to announce our new fan giveaway series! Be sure to listen for details on how to win!
