For Dodgers, Tigers Shane Greene Most Realistic Trade Target
The Dodgers appear to have their sights set on the Detroit Tigers’ right-handed reliever Shane Greene, according to David Vassegh of AM 570 LA.
Dave Vassegh on AM570 calls Detroit RHP Shane Greene the "most linked to the Dodgers", and the "most realistic trade target."

Greene, who has been linked to the Dodgers for the better part of the last month, has been solid this year, posting an ERA hovering around 1.00. Last season, however, things were a bit different with him posting a 5.12 ERA.
He is striking out almost 28% of batters faced this season, and walking fewer than 8%. His ground ball rate is at a career high 54% in 2019 – an elite number – and sits at 46% in his career.
The Dodgers continue their pursuit of a back-end bullpen arm and Vassegh saying the club has been linked the most to Greene makes some sense.
In addition to Shane Greene, the Dodgers have also shown a willingness to talk with the Orioles on Mychal Givens and the Royals on Jake Diekman.
Greene is controllable — not a free agent until 2021.
