Of course, it hasn’t all been the big three, actual moves went down in baseball that is helping set the stage for big paydays for tier-2 stars. Free agent Zack Wheeler agreed to a 5-year, $118M deal with the Philadelphia Phillies, and another Cole (Hamels) signed for 1-year and $18M with the Atlanta Braves.
