How are the Dodgers Doing?

Why is this Game Important?

Despite their victory, the Dodgers failed to make progress in the standings. The Rockies defeated the Giants on Tuesday, as they maintain a 0.5 game lead. Following the affair with the Mets, the Dodgers will spend their weekend in Colorado for a three-game series.

Hyun-Jin Ryu (4-1, 2.24 ERA) vs Zack Wheeler (9-7, 3.37 ERA)

Zack Wheeler makes his 27th start of the year. He faced the Dodgers back on June 22, where he took home the loss after giving up four runs over seven innings. Since that start, Wheeler is 7-1 with a 1.83 ERA in 12 games. He lost his last start against the Giants, despite allowing just one run over seven innings.
