The big news over the weekend came when Anthony Rendon fired oddball shots at his Anaheim press conference. This leads to wonder about what “Hollywood lifestyle” he thinks happens 30 miles away from Angel Stadium.

In more hot stove news, Mad Bum is off the table as he took his talents to the desert. With the Dodgers’ hypothetical back against the wall as free agents sign left and right, Brook wonders if we have to trade for David Price just to not go home alone.

We announced the winner of our Cody Bellinger MVP collage giveaway, and let you know about a cool baseball book as a stocking stuffer.

Next, we wrap up the decade by waxing nostalgic about our top 3 moments from the 2010s, and listing our Dodgers All-Decade team — even Chicago native Rick Krajewski!

Thank you all for the support and we will see you official in the new year!

  1. Your podcast conjures up Shakespeare: “…full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” Inane babbling would be generous in describing this pointless drivel. When you do focus in on the Dodgers or baseball in general, you guys are absolutely clueless – and that’s being generous. Wasted fifteen precious minutes of my time before signing off forever.

However, not to depart on a note of negativity, have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  2. To Casey and Dodgers Nation staff’
I have listened to the Podcast a few times and it is a little embarrassing and I agree with Casey their just isn’t enough talk about the Dodgers. That being said I do think the web page does have some good articles to read on a regular basis. The Web page also seems to be current when information about the Dodgers is happening then an article usually appears here about the topic. Other sites are not as up to speed as DodgersNation. Of course I don’t see what comments are ever blocked but it seems to be a pretty clean good honest opinion site (compare to DodgersDigest is horrible not current and foul language all over the place is common. So bottom line al though I might not enjoy the podcast the site is one of the best.

  3. Gents, the podcast is a source of entertainment with Dodgers news headlines, not a news show or deep-dive analysis program. You can’t please everyone, but our numbers and fans tell me that your opinions of the show are definitely in the minority.

However, I’d suggest joining us for a live broadcast some time. We take questions from our live audience and help build a show.

One final note about this particular episode, it was an end of the year, end of the decade type show… a lot to cover over the last 10 years in a short time.
