KTLA Dodgers TV Schedule for 2019

Here is some good news for Dodger fans!

Today, Spectrum Networks and Tribune Media came to an agreement to allow KTLA 5 to host 10 Dodger broadcasts.

This is obviously pretty cool to see as so many Dodger fans remain in the dark, unable to watch their beloved team.

The 10 games that are listed include some really solid matchups with the division rival Giants, 2018 NLCS opponent Brewers, and perennial playoff teams like the Cubs and Nationals.

Here is a list of the games that will be hosted on KTLA 5:

4/2 vs. Giants @ 7:10pm

4/12 vs. Brewers @ 7:10pm

4/18 vs. Brewers @ 5:10pm

4/24 vs. Cubs @ 5:05pm

4/27 vs. Pirates @ 6:10pm

5/11 vs. Nationals @ 6:10pm

5/27 vs. Mets @ 5:10pm

5/30 vs. Mets @ 7:10pm

6/1 vs. Phillies @ 7:10pm

6/15 vs. Cubs @ 6:10pm

KTLA 5 will also air SportsNet LA’s flagship pregame show, Access SportsNet: Dodgers, prior to every simulcast game.

All Dodger games should be able to be seen by their beloved fans in the greater Los Angeles area. That is indisputable.

10 games is better than none and fans can now see the club play a few games prior to the playoffs without having to use Reddit streams and virus-infected sites!

  1. Dodgers fans, I’m a Dodgers fan living in Elk Grove, CA(Giants country), from 1973-82, I lived in SoCal(LA,Glendale,Norwalk,Cerritos,Long Beach).. Can one watch Dodgers home or away games via cable or satellite

    • Robin, I live in Grants Pass, Oregon and use DTV’s MLB Extra Innings witch includes MLB. TV and I can see all the Dodger games Home and Road except For when they play the Giants because they own the broadcast rights in Southern Oregon, which means I only get the Giant’s feed. But it does cost a bit extras for about 6 months. Before 2004, I lived in Southern Orange County in Calif and back then games to be seen where never an issue. Direct TV (DTV) offers that MLB Package and you could get the Dodger games that way

  2. Hi, I live in North Carolina and have been a Dodger Fan since I saw them win the world Series on tv in 1988. I watch as many tv games as I can each season, and that practically all. Unfortunately, I don’t have Cable anymore. I use an indoor antenna, and I couldn’t wait to see the Dodgers on tv again. Only to find out that
The networks won’t be showing ANY baseball games, the playoffs or the world series. This is ——–! (Fill in the blanks).
I think baseball in general needs to make a deal with the networks. There were no network games in 2018 either.
Football is all over tv. So is basketball and some hockey. Exposure is a good thing.
    That’s my rant..Im done now!

  3. I’m in South Orange County, CA. I’d gladly give up CNN, MSNBC, the E Channel, and all the Spanish speaking networks for the Dodgers games.

  4. Baseball wonders why viewership is declining? It’s pretty gawddamn obvious isn’t it? 6 years of blackout here in L. A. literally 100’s of thousands of homes don’t have the only network that carries the Dodgers games, and never will due to the cable map. It’s really stupid marketing of a sport that is already losing viewers.

How is it that football and basketball have this figured out and not baseball? Instead of dealing with the problem MLB is shortening games with little bandaids as the wounds grow larger because they’re alienating their fans by blacking out their biggest markets… Genius!

    • Yes, couldn’t agree more. A huge part of the market without reasonable access to view Dodger games. Absolutely ridiculous on the part of the Dodgers & MLB.

  5. I live in MO ,AND IT’S EASIER 4ME TO WATCH THE DODGERS THAN IT IS 4 SOMEONE N LA. GOOD 4 KTLA FOR FIXING THIS, 10 GAMES IS BETTER THAN NOTHING

  6. I live in south Orange County I have DirecTV pay to get MLB Extra Innings to watch Yankees as I can’t get Dodger games! I Love MLB Baseball! It’s a shame can’t get Dodger games! I appreciate KTLA what they do for us Dodger Fans! Thanks KTLA

  7. Oh man, thank you KTLA CH5
