Beachy worked around a Jean Segura leadoff single in the fourth to keep the Dodgers within three runs of the Brewers. Jungmann walked Joc Pederson to open the fourth and found himself in trouble after Howie Kendrick knocked a base hit to center.

The Dodgers continued to spin their wheels however, as Justin Turner hit into a double play and Gonzalez grounded out on the first pitch he saw to end the inning. Chin-hui Tsao replaced Beachy in the fifth, who’s night came to an end after allowing three runs on 78 pitches over four frames.

Tsao allowed a two-out double, but prevented the Brewers from adding to their lead by striking out Gomez to end the inning. The Dodgers didn’t put up much of a fight in the bottom half of the fifth as they were retired in order.

Ramirez led off the sixth with a single to right-center field that bounced just out of Pederson’s reach. Puig backed up the play and threw a strike from the warning track to nail Ramirez on his attempt to stretch the single to a double. Tsao proceded to retire the next two batters for a second scoreless inning of work.

Adam Liberatore took the mound in the seventh with the Dodgers still trailing 3-0, and gave up a solo home run to Parra. Jonathan Lucroy followed with a double and Lind fouled out after Braun was intentionally walked. Pedro Baez took over to face Gomez, who hit a two-run flare double to center. Ramirez flied out to center, ending the inning with the Brewers lead sitting at 6-0.

Parra drove a run in off Joel Peralta in the eighth on an RBI double that split Ethier and Pederson and rolled to the fence. Grandal’s leadoff double led to a run when Kiké Hernandez scored him on a sacrifice fly to get the Dodgers on the board at 7-1.

That would be the lone run the Dodgers pushed across as Jungmann tossed a complete game to end Los Angeles’ three-game winning streak on Juan Uribe bobblehead night.
