MLB All-Star Game: Dodgers Mookie Betts Giving Away Two Tickets Through Foundation

Any big event taking place in a city like Los Angeles always costs a pretty penny. Ticket prices for Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game have soared over the last few days. As of last week, ticket prices for the Home Run Derby and the Midsummer Classic were on pace to break to be the most expensive ever

However, Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts, who earned a starting spot in Tuesday’s game, is giving away a pair of tickets to the All-Star Game through his foundation, Acts Inspired by Mookie.

A $10 donation to Betts’ foundation enters fans for the chance to win two lower-level tickets (one lucky fan plus a guest) to the 92nd Midsummer Classic at Dodger Stadium.

According to the press release, the grand prize winner also gets a personalized keepsake video from Betts, plus an autographed jersey. A bonus winner will also get an autographed Mookie jersey.

Fans go donate here. Donations must be made by 6:00PM PT today, Monday, July 18th, in order to be eligible for the tickets for one lucky fan and a guest.

Acts Inspired by Mookie President Diana Collins, released the following statement regarding the All-Star Game ticket contest.

“On behalf of Mookie and Acts Inspired by Mookie, we are excited to be able to raise funds four our foundation, while providing fans with an opportunity of a lifetime to attend the MLB All Star Game.”
