Sometimes things don’t work out quite the way you hope playing in MLB. And sometimes, bad guys end up getting every bit of hate that comes their way. That would certainly be the case with Josh Reddick and Dodger fans.
Reddick really got under the skin of fans in Los Angeles following the 2017 World Series win. Despite contributing virtually nothing to the tainted title even though he was cheating, Reddick took every opportunity to move his former team. MLB fans took notice.
When the Astros beat the Dodgers in game 1 of the 2-game series this week, Reddick once again mocked fans. Even though he’s playing for the Diamondbacks now, he just couldn’t help it. And how he finds himself out of MLB once again.
The Diamondbacks made a series of moves on Thursday, including designating the veteran outfielder for assignment. This was after he slashed .258/.285/.371 in 54 games for Arizona. He wasn’t great, and now he is without an MLB job.
Sometimes karma just finds you, Josh.
