Recap: Adrian Gonzalez Homers in 6-4 Loss to Cubs
The Dodgers entered Friday’s game sitting 2 games in front of the Giants, first in the National League West. Unfortunately, this next series is with the dangerous Chicago Cubs while the Giants are playing the Atlanta Braves. Needless to say, this series is extremely important. Bud Norris would take the mound to try and secure a Dodger win!

The Cubs would finally answer in the top of the fifth with a run, making the game 3-2.

In the bottom of the seventh the Dodgers would get an insurance run in a solo shot by Adrian Gonzalez! Unfortunately, that would be the end of Los Angeles’ offense.

The in the top of the eighth with a solo shot by Kris Bryant. The in the top of the ninth Kenley Jansesn would come in to close things out. Unfortunately, it seemed like him and Carlos Ruiz were just not on the same page and after a wild pitch, the tying run would score.
