Let’s take a look at the highlights!

Brett Anderson would struggle in the top of the first giving up 5 runs off of two home runs.

The Dodgers would get one back in the bottom of the first thanks to a double by Josh Reddick and a single by Adrian Gonzalez!

Anderson would exit the game with a sprain in his left wrist and the Dodgers would send in Brock Stewart for the long relief.

In the top of the fourth the offense would return for both teams. First for the Pirates as they made their lead one run bigger.

The Dodgers would strike back in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a solo shot off the bat of Jjoc Pederson!

Then in the top of the 5th the Pirates would get lucky and score a run because of a ball lost in the sun by Josh Reddick.

The Dodgers would fight to stay alive and catch a break thanks to a run scoring balk!

The Pirates would tear the game right open by scoring 4 in the top of the 9th.

The Dodgers couldn’t get anything going in the bottom of the 9th and would lose the game 11-3. They remain one game behind the Giants.
