Recap: Yasmani Grandal Homers in 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays

The Dodgers faced the Rays at home on Tuesday for the first time since 2013! Bud Norris was given the start, coming off of a 1 inning outing in St. Louis in the 16th inning. Yasiel Puig would again be left out of the lineup as well, leaving fans wondering what his future might hold!

Let’s take a look at the highlights from Tuesday’s game!

The game was a solid pitchers duel up until the bottom of the 3rd when the Dodgers would get 2 on the board!

The game would resume to what it was before the bottom of the third: a pitchers duel! Bud Norris had an absolutely terrific night going 6 1/3 scoreless innings!

The Dodger bats were not done yet, however, because in the bottom of the 7th Yasmani would smash a solo shot into the visiting team’s bullpen!

Unfortunately, the Rays would not be shut out and would make the game close scoring 2 in the top of the 8th.

Of course, no need to worry Dodger fans! Kenley would be called upon to close things out and he’d do just that! Dodgers win 3-2!
