Kershaw traveled to the island with teammate Yasiel Puig and other MLB players and officials, including Joe Torre and Dave Winfield as part of MLB’s goodwill tour.  One of the unique moments from the trip took place when Kershaw served as an instructor at a youth baseball clinic.  Additionally, as Dave Roberts looks to promote team comradery amongst his players, he assigns pitching prospect,Jose De Leon, a special project which he hopes will bring the team closer together. The ‘backstage cameras’ also capture a special behind the scenes team bonding moment as players attend a Professional Bull Riding event in Phoenix.

Rizzo’s revealing conversation with Kenley Jansen included the pitcher opening up about the frustration he felt starting the 2015 season on the DL.  He also discussed why he wasn’t bothered by the Aroldis Chapman situation because of the honesty and open communication of Dodgers’ President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman.  In addition, Rizzo sat down with J.P. Howell to discuss his decision to pass up potential free agency opportunities and how Adrian Gonzalez inspired him to forgo time off and continue with strenuous, offseason workouts.

The interview also features a funny interaction between Rizzo and Howell as Alanna explained why Dave Roberts’ nickname is “Doc”.

Lastly, Rizzo caught up with Clayton Kershaw, the staff’s ace, and discussed what it felt like to finally get the proverbial ‘monkey off his back’ by pitching well in the playoffs last season.  He also opens up about the value Kazmir and Maeda bring to the team and if he feels any additional pressure with Greinke no longer on the staff.
