Athletics at Dodgers: How to Watch, Predictions, and More

The Los Angeles Dodgers return to Camelback Ranch on Sunday to take on the Oakland Athletics for the first time this spring.

Kyle Hurt gets the start for the Dodgers in what could be the start of his push to make the Opening Day roster. He appeared in two innings for the Dodgers last year and struck out three of the six batters he faced.

The rest of the lineup is similar to Friday’s game against the San Diego Padres, with a couple of changes to the batting order and the Cactus League debut of right fielder Jason Heyward.

How to Watch

SportsNet LA will broadcast the game with the first pitch slated for 12:10 p.m. PT. Radio broadcasts will only be available on Dodgers Radio 570 AM.

Predictions

Despite tying with the Los Angeles Angels yesterday, the Dodgers are looking to get back in the win column, and this lineup shows that.

The Dodgers are ahead of schedule compared to the A’s, who opened their spring season on Saturday.

Los Angeles wins this one 8-2.

More

Miguel Vargas is battling to find a roster spot on Opening Day, and he had an impressive outing in his last game, going 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Vargas also made some nice plays in left field, which is still a new position for him.
