Fan Fest Coverage, AJ Pollock Signs With LA, Prospects And More! | This Week in Dodgers Nation

This week in Dodgers Nation, the team actually made a real signing! No, not outfielder Blake Gailen. Free agent center fielder AJ Pollock officially agreed to a 4-year deal with Los Angeles.

Fans (and staff) were a little mixed on the signing.

However, ace Walker Buehler was excited.

Our podcast predicted the signing on Tuesday, and discussed it with a live audience on Thursday. The Thursday stream also wondered what’s next. Could Joc Pederson and more be on the way to Miami for JT Realmuto?

Just ahead of Fan Fest, Rich Hill made a bold proclamation about his rotation mates.

AJ Gonzalez wonders who Clayton Kershaw will be in 2019.

New Assistant GM Jeff Kingston says the front office feels comfortable with the team heading into spring training.

Fan fest

Conversations with Dave Roberts and Andrew Friedman brought forth a lot of news and quotes during FanFest.

Dodgers Nation was well represented at FanFest as well. Our Tim Rogers took full advantage of the opportunity to chat with Corey Seager, while Marshall Garvey enjoyed the scene and social media reactions.

Prospect news

MLB Pipeline had high praise for Dodgers prospects as they broke down the top-10 by position.

One Last Note

MLB also may be helping to crack down on the Dodgers and other 10-day DL happy teams.

One Comment

  1. Kasten”s comments about filling the stadium with fans regardless, was upsetting. How soon we forget McCourt and his view of Dodger fans. Real life will trump baseball real quick.
