Stadium Giveaways: Dodgers Bobblehead Updates

Bobbleheads are an integral part of fan culture and are typically the most sought after giveaways amongst our fanbase.

The Dodgers have announced three new bobblehead giveaways for the 2019 season that will be very popular amongst Dodger fans: a Max Muncy bobblehead, a Clayton Kershaw no-hitter anniversary bobblehead, and a Kiké Hernandez bobblehead.

With the help of AM570’s David Vassegh, Muncy was surprise with the announcement of his own bobblehead night, set for May 15 at Dodger Stadium.

That’s pretty awesome. That’s the first one I’ve ever had — a pretty special moment.

Kershaw Anniversary Bobblehead

June 18, 2019 will mark the fifth anniversary of Kershaw’s historic pitching performance on that night. Kershaw struck out 15 (!) Colorado Rockies that night en route to the second no-hitter of the 2014 season for Los Angeles, Josh Beckett had the other 3 weeks earlier.

Kiké Hernandez

Also set to receive a bobblehead is fan favorite, Kiké Hernandez. His bobblehead night will be on August 22nd against the Toronto Blue Jays.

If it does have anything banana-related or he is not wearing tight yoga pants, I admit that I will be slightly disappointed.

Daniel Preciado

My name is Daniel Preciado and I am 19 years old. I am a sophomore Sport Analytics major and Cognitive Science and Economics dual minor at Syracuse University. When I am not in New York, I live in Whittier, California --- not too far from Chavez Ravine. I am pretty old-school for being an analytics guy and I will always embrace debate. Also, Chase Utley did absolutely nothing wrong.
