Trending Up:

Zack Greinke: Getting a start on the Fourth of July against the Mets, Greinke increased his consecutive scoreless streak to 24.2 innings.

In seven innings pitched he allowed just four hits while striking out four batters. He is making a serious case to start for the National League in the All-Star Game, as his ERA and WHIP for the season dropped to 1.48 and 0.89, respectively.

Clayton Kershaw: Despite getting a no-decision in another tough-luck loss for the Dodgers, Kershaw was still on his A-game.

In seven innings against the Mets, he allowed just one earned run and seven baserunners (five hits, two walks) while striking out seven. With another great outing, his ERA and FIP lowered to 3.08 and 2.55, respectively.

Howie Kendrick: Starting in all six games this week, Kendrick recorded at least one hit in four of them.

In 24 at-bats, he collected eight hits while drawing three walks. Of his eight hits, two of them went for extra-bases (one home run, one double). His slash line for the season sits at .292/.342/.416.

Honorable Mentions:

Brett Anderson: Making one start against the Diamondbacks, Anderson went seven strong innings, allowing just one earned run and seven hits while striking out seven batters.

Andre Ethier: In four starts (five games played) last week, Ethier went 6-for-14 (.429 batting average), recording at least one hit in each game he started.

Adrian Gonzalez: Even though he only recorded two hits in 18 at-bats, both of them were home runs to give the Dodgers a lead at the time.
