Obviously, there are few better barometers of who people buy a ticket to see than the guys who sell merchandise. Now, MLB.com has released the top MLB jersey sales for 2019 thus far. Furthermore, two Los Angeles Dodgers are ranked within the top 15.
Those players are Clayton Kershaw (sixth) and Cody Bellinger (fourteenth). Definitely, it’s a true testament to just how popular these two players are within the realm of the entire game.

Nevertheless – when we last examined this unit of measure – Kershaw was ranked fourth. On the other hand, Bellinger bumped up one spot on the list from ranking 15th at the end of the 2018 season.
Topping the list are the names you would expect to see. Unfortunately, Bryce Harper in his new Phillies gear is ranked at the top. Then Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, and Mookie Betts check in.
Still, a familiar face appears in former Dodger Manny Machado just two spots ahead of Bellinger. Lastly, kudos to the legend and recently-retired Ichiro Suzuki who is currently at the 13 spot.
It’s exciting to see two Dodgers with such prominence in the game. This tells us who you enjoy watching, reading about, and buying gear of. Also, there are several Dodgers with the ability to crack this list at some point. One would think that Walker Buehler, Corey Seager, or even Justin Turner have the kind of star appeal to make the list.
So what do you think? Are you surprised by any names on this list? Do you own a Dodgers jersey of any current player? Who do you think is the next Dodgers player to reach this list? Let us know in the comments section!
