Video: Dodgers’ A.J. Ellis Gives Funny Interview On Intentional Talk

Dodgers catcher A.J. Ellis joined Chris Rose and Kevin Millar of MLB Network’s Intentional Talk and gave one of the better player interviews in a while.

Ellis of course caught Kenley Jansen’s final pitch to close out Game 4 of the NLDS and his bat came alive during the series against the Braves as he hit .333 with two doubles and an RBI.

Talking with Rose and Millar, Ellis went through the Juan Uribe home run and talked about how Zack Greinke talks more about his fantasy football trades during his start than actual baseball. In calling the home run, Ellis said that nobody bunts anymore and even discussed Magic Johnson’s speedo bet with Jay Leno.

As the interview winds down, Ellis gets a visit from Don Mattingly, who said he didn’t like his comments about the “no bunting” and that Tim Federowicz would start Game 1.

Here’s the entire interview with Ellis from earlier this afternoon.
