Video: Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig Shows Off His Off-Season Training

Yasiel PuigIn his first full off-season in Los Angeles, Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has stayed rather busy. Whether it’s going to Laker games or hosting clinics for little leaguers at Dodger Stadium, Puig has been everywhere in LA this winter.

While he’s been busy off the field, Puig looks to be keeping in shape; hitting off the tee, working out and doing running drills. In 2013, the 23-year-old outfielder bursted onto the scene after he was called up on June 3.

Puig hit .319 with 19 home runs and 42 RBI, but quickly became one of the most exciting players in all of baseball. Along with the spectacular plays came some questionable decisions on the base paths and also in the field. However, Dodgers management didn’t send him to winter ball and wanted him to assimilate into the lifestyle of living in LA.

This morning, after what looked like an intense workout, Puig posted it on Instagram for everyone to see. Whether it was agility drills or running with a parachute, don’t criticize Puig for not training in the off-season.

Here’s the clip of his workout this morning:
