Video: Former Dodgers Manager Tommy Lasorda Drops Puck At Kings Game

Tommy LasordaTommy Lasorda, one of the greatest people to ever be apart of the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, represented the team tonight with a ceremonial puck drop at the Los Angeles Kings-Dallas Stars game tonight.

In an effort to promote the “Stadium Series” game at Dodger Stadium on January 25 between the Kings and Anaheim Ducks, Lasorda donned the Kings special uniform and met the captains from both teams at center ice. As is customary, Lasorda dropped the puck and the home captain, or in this case Anze Kopitar, wins the “face off”.



However, in true Lasorda fashion, he shook Kopitar’s hand as he dropped the puck and didn’t shake Stars captain Jamie Benn’s hand. As Benn skated off, he was perplexed by what took place at center ice.
