Throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium can be a bit of a glamour job with Hollywood just miles away and plenty of celebrities and athletes from the area.

Just this year, rapper Kendrick Lamar, Los Angeles Clipper Paul Pierce and tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, among others, have been given the task of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game.

On Monday, the newest member of the Los Angeles Galaxy was in attendance to be the next to deliver the honor:

Giovani Dos Santos recently joined the Galaxy and has scored twice in his first two games with the team. The Mexican-born forward is one of the few younger international starts to play in the MLS and he joined older international star, Steven Gerrard, on the five-time MLS champions. Adrian Gonzalez, a fellow Mexican star, caught the pitch.
