VIDEO: Miguel Rojas Makes Diving Catch On Line Drive Vs. Indians

For the second consecutive game, the Cleveland Indians jumped ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Hyun-Jin Ryu gave up a two-run home run in the fourth inning and the Dodgers still found themselves trailing by two in the fifth.

Asdrubal Cabrera reached in the inning on a one-out double as the Indians were threatening to add to their lead. Michael Brantley was at the plate and he smacked a 1-0 pitch down the third base line, which Miguel Rojas made a diving catch on.

Rojas’ catch was the latest in what’s been an impressive rookie season for him defensively. The catch prevent Cabrera from scoring and the Dodgers escaped the inning without seeing their deficit increase as Scott Van Slyke followed with a strike to home plate on a single to nail Cabrera as he was trying to score.
