VIDEO: Red Carpet With Vin Scully At The Harold & Carole Pump Gala

This year, Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully was honored at the 14th Annual Harold and Carole Pump Foundation Gala, along with former boxer Sugar Ray Leonard and Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown.

Scully was thankful to be honored along with the two sporting legends, joking that he was surprised they chose to for an athletic honor. The Hall of Fame broadcaster also mentioned the fact that he tries to be unbiased when it comes to sports, although he would be happy if this year’s team could pull of a World Series victory.

On the red carpet, former NFL players Matt Leinart and Marcellus Wiley shared their stories and talked about the Dodgers. Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith was in attendance and discussed how we got involved with the foundation. Fellow broadcaster Al Michaels was also on-hand for the event. Michaels was invited to introduce Scully on the stage and gave his insight as to what makes Scully the best at what he does.
