VIDEO: Uribe Jumps To Snag Line Drive To Rob Albert Pujols

The Los Angeles Dodgers took three of four from their American League neighbors, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, with the help of their third baseman Juan Uribe.

On Tuesday in Los Angeles, Uribe put the Dodgers on the board with a booming three-run home run in an eventual 5-4 walk-off victory. The entire series the third baseman provided strong defense, much like he has all season, and much to the delight of Dodger pitching.

In the fourth inning in Anaheim in the series finale, Angels’ designated hitter Albert Pujols stepped in the batters’ box with his team down 3-0 and one out. Pujols smoked a line drive that would have easily been a double had Uribe not leaped into the air and came down with the ball. Pujols was visibly frustrated following the play and Dodger pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu would end up throwing three more scoreless innings in a 7-0 win.
