Chase Utley sat at 999 career runs batted in entering Friday night’s game against the Kansas City Royals.

In the bottom of the 8th inning, he hit a booming double over the head of Lorenzo Cain that scored Joc Pederson from second base.

Utley’s 916 RBI’s that he had with the Philadelphia Phillies combined with the now 84 that he has in Los Angeles brought him to the remarkable 1000 career mark.

Congrats Chase on your huge accomplishment!
