WATCH: Dodgers and Marlins Benches Clear After Attempted HBP
The Dodgers and Marlins both cleared their benches in Friday night’s game after a series of events unfolded between the bottom of the eighth and the top of the ninth inning.
The controversy started after Cody Bellinger hit a home run off of Marlins deliver, A.J. Ramos.

The blast extended the Dodgers lead to a whopping 7-0.
The next batter, Brett Eibner, who already hit a home run earlier in the game, was plunked by Ramos. Eibner took his base with no intentions of anger pointed towards Ramos.
After finishing the bottom of the eighth inning, Giancarlo Stanton was immediately thrown at by Dodgers’ reliever Ross Stripling to lead off the ninth.
Stripling was ejected, which then led to this:
Ross Stripling, Don Mattingly and Bob Geren were all ejected from the game after the scuffle.
