WATCH: Justin Turner Trips Over Bat After Grounding Out

Justin Turner is having a career year to say the least. So far this year, Turner is leading the National League in batting average with .348 and has 15 homers and a 1.002 OPS to go with it! There is no doubt in anybody’s mind that Turner is a strong candidate for the National League MVP with numbers like that.

However, Justin Turner proved to everybody that he is indeed human.

In the top of the 5th, Justin Turner grounded out to third base, but was no where to be found when the camera followed the ball to first. The camera then shows Justin Turner getting up and replays a hilarious shot of him tripping over his bat immediately after making contact with the ball.

Luckily, the fall did not result in any sort of injury, just laughs! Hopefully he is able to redeem himself against the Padres this weekend!
