Kenta Maeda has been known to play quite a few pranks on his interpreter, Will Ireton. Ireton, usually at the receiving end of all the hilarity, had his chance to shine this morning in the Dodger clubhouse.
Dodgers pitcher Alex Wood released this video with very little context as to what exactly was happening. All we know is that Will Ireton, was pumped up.

After a quick trip to Alex Wood’s Instagram page, the story only got better.

David Vassegh of Dodger Talk and Eric Stephen of True Blue LA said he was challenged by players, one specifically being Kenley Jansen.
Dave Roberts said Kenley Jansen challenged interpreter Will Ireton to deadlift 405 pounds. That spawned this https://t.co/2GFtToGKP4

Will was challenged by players that he couldn't dead lift 405 LBS. Dave Roberts said he was more "hoping, but I wasn't counting on it." https://t.co/IKMd9de9W7
