WATCH: Logan Forsythe Saves Dodgers with Walk-Off Single

The Dodgers entered Sunday afternoon looking to salvage what had been a rough series for them against the Atlanta Braves.

The table was set in their favor as they entered the bottom of the 9th inning with a 4-1 lead and Kenley Jansen on the mound. After hits from Freddie Freeman and Matt Kemp, Matt Adams came to the plate with two out and attempted to break Dodger fan hearts once again as he deposited a three-run home run into the right field seats, tying the game at four a piece.

Fast forward to the bottom 10th inning and the Dodgers manage to load the bases for second baseman Logan Forsythe. After more struggles than he would have wanted this season, he was finally able to give the Dodgers the big hit that they needed to send them away with a victory.

Forsythe banged a single up the middle and sent everyone home, giving the Dodgers a series split as they took the final two games from the Atlanta Braves.

If the Dodgers play .500 baseball the rest of the season, they will hit the 100-win mark.

Clayton Kershaw could miss 4-6 weeks
