WATCH: “Logie Bear” and “Wild Horse” Hit Home Runs in Dodgers Win

The nicknamed Logie Bear (Logan Forsythe) and The Wild Horse (Yasiel Puig) both hit big home runs in the Dodgers’ victory on Friday night.

Logan Forsythe landed his fourth home run of the year in the fourth inning against the Brewers, while Puig continues to stack on his career high 23rd home run of the year! Puig has had a complete turn around year for the Dodgers, batting .257 with 23 home runs and 58 RBI’s. Last year he batted .263 with only 11 home runs and 45 RBI’s. In addition, 2017’s Puig has found a sense of patience. Puig has walked 55 times this year. Nearly doubling last year and the year before.

The Dodgers’ went on to win the game against the Brew Crew, 3-1. Maeda was stellar after only allowing 1 hit, the home run, over six solid innings of work. Josh Ravin also turned in a great outing, striking out the side in the 8th inning. His ERA has now dropped to 2.16. Overall the Dodgers’ pitching staff remains dominant this year as the guys in blue land their 91st victory of the year. The magic number is now 14. Also, it’s still August.
