WATCH: Tommy Lasorda Returns to L.A. After Heart Surgery

Beloved Dodgers’ Hall Of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda made his return to Dodger Stadium to watch the squad take on the Nationals, Monday night.

The two-time World Series Champion manager was hospitalized to have new pacemaker surgically put in. Just eleven days later, Lasorda paid a visit to Chavez Ravine where he was given a warm welcome by Dodger fanatics.

Lasorda led the Dodgers to two Championships in the 1980’s. He held down the dugout through some of the most historic moments in our time, like Kirk Gibson’s World Series home run, and Fernando Mania.

Tommy Lasorda is without a doubt one the most iconic managers in the history of the game. He is a constant spark plug to this day in the organization. He continues his employment with the Dodgers as the special advisor to the chairman and worked as the Dodgers president and interim GM.

Welcome, home Tommy!
