The Los Angeles Dodgers had their share of frustration with the three-game series against the San Francisco Giants, in which they lost two games. Kenley Jansen and others in the bullpen continued to struggle in various games throughout the week, but there was some positive news regarding Clayton Kershaw.

The ace of the staff completed multiple bullpen sessions during the week, carefully ramping up the intensity as he went along. On Sunday, Kershaw is scheduled to throw a simulated game, facing hitters for the first time since his regular season debut on March 22. A return date, nor a timetable has been set for Kershaw, but his advancing with his rehab work is encouraging.
