The Los Angeles Dodgers will be getting another arm from the disabled list. Pitcher Alex Wood will be reinstated from the 60-day DL.

To make room for the move the Dodgers decided to part ways with Bud Norris and designate him for assignment.

Norris was acquired by the Dodgers on June 30 from the Atlanta Braves. Since being acquired Norris went 3-3 with a 6.54 ERA.

While his time with the club has been limited, the addition of Wood would add a lefty to a team only having seven.

Previously a member of the Atlanta Braves as well, Wood has been with the Dodgers since being acquired last season.

In his two seasons in LA, Wood has gone 6-10 as a starter.

This season he has been limited to only 10 games with his last start coming on May 30. He will be joining a Dodger team that is seven games away from clinching the National League Western Division.
